About Dr Lauderdale

Dr. Mark Lauderdale has been in the practice of Psychiatry and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for over 35 years. He received his medical degree at the University of Calgary and trained as a child and family psychiatrist at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He was an Associate Professor of Psychiatry with the University of Calgary and is a Past President of the Canadian Society of Clinical Hypnosis – Alberta Division.

Dr. Lauderdale is now retired after 24 years in private practice in child and family psychiatry in Victoria, BC, Canada. He is experienced in a variety of therapies including Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Family Therapy, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). He holds an Advanced Certificate in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and was an Approved Consultant with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

Dr. Lauderdale is an innovator in success-oriented personal change methods including the guided self-therapy process called The Wellspring Method. He has conducted numerous workshops on Clinical Hypnosis, Future Visioning and Personal Effectiveness and has been an invited speaker on numerous topics including inner power, overcoming obstacles, interpersonal effectiveness and personal success.
